The client is a global insights and strategy firm operating at the intersection of content, culture, and technology, partnering with clients across entertainment, technology, lifestyle, sports, and gaming. The company combines research, analytics, software engineering, and AI-driven solutions to deliver actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive innovation.

The project focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining the client's product portfolio, including modern web applications, backend services, data-intensive systems, and AI-enabled workflows.

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain features across the client's product portfolio.

• Build and support modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Develop and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and data-driven applications.

• Work with relational databases and SQL to support product functionality and data-intensive systems.

• Use AI tools as part of daily software development, including coding, testing, debugging, and optimization.

• Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data, and QA teams to define and implement practical technical solutions.

• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, CI/CD workflows, and production readiness activities.

• Contribute to scalable data visualization experiences and continuously improve engineering practices.

• Ensure software is secure, observable, maintainable, and aligned with product and business priorities.

• 5+ years of professional experience developing production software using Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern backend language.

• 1+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• 1+ years of professional experience building applications with React.

• 3+ years of experience writing SQL and working with relational databases.

• Practical experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including code generation, testing, debugging, and optimization.

• Ability to evaluate AI-generated output and identify potential quality, security, and data governance risks.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including software design, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver reliable production software.

• Experience with Java with Spring / Spring Boot.

• C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, or Oracle.

• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies.

• Experience with automated unit, integration, and API testing.

• Experience with CI/CD and production deployment practices.

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS

• Snowflake or BigQuery.

• Experience with legacy application modernization.

• Experience with data-intensive applications, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled products.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
