Nexaminds is looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React, who excels at designing, building, and maintaining complex backend and frontend systems at scale. You thrive in rapidly growing companies and know how to evolve technical architecture to support aggressive growth. You take complete end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack and mentor others along the way. Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in Java 21+ and modern Spring Boot (3.x+)
- Strong functional programming skills in Java - leveraging streams, immutability, and functional composition.
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript using functional patterns.
- Production experience with React using functional components and hooks
- Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL including query optimization and schema design.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining RESTful APIs at scale.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and/or orchestration (Kubernetes) preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and integration patterns preferred.
- Experience with bash and unix operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
Job duties:
- Design and build highly scalable distributed solutions across the full stack that enable exceptional user experiences.
- Own and lead complex projects from architecture through deployment, mentoring other engineers along the way.
- Set the standard for code quality, ensuring application performance, reliability, and scale.
- Architect and implement robust backend and frontend systems with enterprise-grade requirements in mind.
- Work directly with product and leadership to shape product direction and technical strategy.
- Collaborate with the product team to deliver high-performance features that drive customer value.
- Create secure, testable, maintainable, and reusable code using functional programming principles.
- Design and implement internal and external APIs with focus on scalability and developer experience.
- Build and maintain integrations with complex 3rd party systems.
- Establish testing standards and practices across the engineering team.
- Optimize database performance and design efficient data models.
- Lead production issue resolution and implement preventative measures.
- Contribute to technical roadmap and engineering culture.
