- Ensuring optimal performance of the database and responsiveness to front-end requests
- Collaborating with other developers on the integration of elements
- Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient
code
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage
solutions
- Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support
- Documenting backend development processes, including database schemas, as well as
preparing reports
- Design, develop, and test software applications according to business requirements and
specifications.
- Provide support and assistance on the deployment of applications in the staging and
production environments.
- Provide 3rd level production technical support, including bug fixes and security patches
- Remediate security issues identified by third-party penetration tests
- Optimize and refactor code for performance and maintainability
- Conduct self code reviews, unit tests, and resolve merge conflicts
- Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies
Requirements
Must have experience in development with the following:
● NodeJS, NestJS, TypeScript
● Vue.js
● PHP (Codeigniter, Laravel, Native php)
● MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
● AWS Web services (ECR, ECS, Secrets Manger, s3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, AWS Glue)
Optional or nice to have experience
● Java
● Javascript / JQuery
Must have skills in the following:
● Agile SCRUM development experience
● GitLab CI/CD, Docker
● Willing to work on a fully onsite setup in Ortigas, Pasig
