Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our core engineering team. You'll play a central role in designing and building scalable systems, intuitive user experiences, and complex features. You’ll work across the stack and collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to shape and deliver impactful solutions that support better, faster clinical trials.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working end-to-end—from database to UI—and who is excited by the opportunity to help define engineering standards and best practices in a rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build and optimize frontend components for performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
- Support data modeling, and query performance (PostgreSQL and SingleStore).
- Ensure clean architecture, maintainability, and code quality across the stack.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and collaborative decision-making.
- Drive improvements in performance, observability, and security.
- Help mentor other developers and share knowledge across the team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience working with Next.js and building modern web applications.
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL required; SingleStore is a plus).
- Comfortable working across frontend and backend, with a focus on end-to-end ownership.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments (we use Vercel and AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for building reliable, performant, and user-centric applications.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with observability tools (e.g. Axiom, New Relic).
- Familiarity with Prisma or other modern ORMs.
- Exposure to data-heavy applications or healthcare/clinical tech.
- Experience with performance profiling and frontend optimization.
