"GEA digital" stands for the digitalization of GEA's customer interface, the development of digital products and services, and the creation of new business models. To this end, the Digital Hub Düsseldorf works together with the digital units of all divisions and provides GEA-wide platforms, services and methods.
The GEAdigital Hub itself operates as a corporate start-up and drives agile, digital transformation across the company. For this we are looking for you as Senior Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Tasks:
The "Customer Engagement" chapter deals with all topics relating to the digital customer interfaces of the future. Industry-specific customer portals, eCommerce applications, and various apps are becoming an increasingly important part of the customer journey.
In an agile team, you will cover all aspects of software development, from specification, concept creation, implementation, and documentation on your own responsibility.
In close collaboration with the product owner, you will help shape the software product backlog, derive features and jointly estimate, plan and implement them in the software development team.
As a senior full stack developer, you will develop frontend, backend and test solutions for a micro-service-based software architecture.
You will be responsible for the integration of enterprise systems from analysis to design and implementation. Here, your analytical skills and deep understanding of platform technologies will help you.
Your Profile / Qualifications
A degree in (business) computer science or another course of study with a focus on information technology
As full-stack developer you have accumulated extensive recent professional experience (>3 years) – Frontend, Backend, Cloud and DevOps are your trade, in which you operate confidently
Profound programming knowledge in a microservice environment with Java, as well as web environment (JS/TS, HTML5, CSS)
Reliable handling of current framework technologies, e.g., Angular, as well as modern software development tools, e.g., Git, Docker, CI/CD and standard DB Types (SQL, NoSQL)
Understanding of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
Ideally, experience with design of WebApp architecture in a cloud environment and modelling technologies, e.g., UML, OpenAPI
Good knowledge of German and English
Strong communication and teamwork skills
