As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Nagish, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of a product that truly changes lives. You’ll work on a user-facing product used daily by people who are Deaf or hard of hearing, turning complex communication challenges into intuitive, accessible, and high-performance experiences.
This role is ideal for an experienced frontend engineer with strong product understanding, who cares deeply about users, performance, and design. This role is not just about coding, but about building frontend features that have real impact for users.
On a day to day, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain rich, accessible frontend experiences across web and mobile products.
- Own features end-to-end: from understanding user needs and product requirements to development, testing, and production.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define flows, UX, and technical solutions.
- Translate high-level product requirements into scalable, maintainable frontend architecture.
- Solve complex UI and performance challenges, including real-time and async interactions.
- Continuously improve code quality, frontend standards, and developer experience.
- Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Bring product-oriented thinking and propose improvements that have real user impact.
- 5+ years of experience building frontend solutions that real users rely on.
- Strong experience with modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript).
- Proven ability to work on complex, production-grade systems.
- Strong product mindset - understanding user needs, tradeoffs, and business context.
- Passion for building accessible, performant, and scalable products.
- Attention to detail and a high bar for user experience.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Initiative, accountability, and a proactive mindset.
