About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Mobi, you will join a highly creative, fast-paced and fearless team tasked with building the next generation of AI-driven solutions.
We’re seeking a passionate and innovative Frontend Engineer to help define the next generation of intelligent customer experiences at the intersection of travel and AI. In this role, you’ll build elegant, highly interactive user interfaces that power AI-driven search and recommendation systems, virtual concierge services, and data-rich dashboards for analytics and visualization. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate user needs into beautiful, intuitive digital experiences — from concept through delivery.
You’ll be working on cutting-edge products that integrate with state-of-the-art AI platforms, including interactive AI assistants and app integrations based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This includes helping define how users interact with models and immersive AI interfaces beyond plain text — building experiences that connect ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms to brand ecosystems with rich, responsive visual UIs rather than just conventional text responses. MCP Apps, a new extension of the MCP standard, enables real-time interactive components within AI chat environments, and you’ll help leverage this technology to create seamless, useful tools for our customers.

Some client engagements involve deep collaboration to understand unique requirements and deliver tailored solutions, while others push the boundaries of what’s possible with evolving AI ecosystems. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes and prototypes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Stay current with front-end trends, tools, and emerging AI technologies.
- Review code to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues.
- Own the full frontend lifecycle from development through testing and shipping, while implementing best practices for code quality, maintainability, and comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with React framework.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Cypress).
- Experience and comfort using AI Tools (CodeX, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to automate workflows
- Understanding of backend APIs, and RESTful services.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with build tools and version control (e.g., Next, Vite, Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Recent Experience working on AI Applications.
- Bonus: Understanding of MCP and response streaming.
Pay Transparency:
The base salary range for this US full-time position is between $140,000- $200,000 and is eligible for an annual company bonus, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. All candidates receive equity (ISO) and access to a comprehensive benefits offering. The base salary range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for candidates. The following factors are considered when determining the compensation offered: work location, skills, experience, and any relevant education or training.
