The Role:

We’re creating a platform that connects partners, businesses, and customers across the experiences industry - from gifting to direct bookings.  We’re a major player in ANZ, and we’re investing in our platform for the future and a global stage. We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our small, fast-moving teams to take it further.

What We're Looking For

• Clear Communicator: in code, documentation and ideas
• Product-minded Engineer: you care about customer impact, code quality, design and maintainability and you know what good engineering looks like
• Ownership: capable of driving solutions end-to-end across the SDLC with minimal guidance
• Pragmatism: you know when to ship quickly and when to refine
• Well Rounded: experienced in test-automation, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, scaling and marking trade-offs to deliver steady, sustainable outcomes 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications that delight customers and drive engagement in a high-volume e-commerce environment.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive and accessible user journeys.
• Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, test automation, and performance optimization.
• Drive improvements in frontend architecture, tooling, and developer experience to ensure long-term velocity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production, contributing to continuous improvement.

Experience & Skills Required

• 5+ years Frontend experience 
• Proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling (e.g., Webpack).
• Proficiency integrating frontend applications with APIs (REST/OpenAPI) to deliver seamless data-driven experiences.
• Strong experience applying web standards, responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization with a focus on customer impact and usability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control (GitHub), and observability tooling (Datadog).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
