The Role
We are looking for a Sr.
Frontend Developer to be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech and who will be managing end-to-end web experiences. The Senior Frontend Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and user-centric interfaces that power our platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, a strong understanding of security best practices, and a passion for building reliable solutions. Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, and security stakeholders, the Senior Frontend Engineer will help shape the future of our platform.
What will I be doing?
- Design and develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features that meet business and user needs.
- Lead architectural decisions for frontend applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation within the frontend codebase.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, across different devices and browsers.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering growth and encouraging adherence to engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, helping to maintain a high standard of engineering excellence across the team.
- Contribute to and help evolve the design system or component library, promoting consistency across products.
- Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas and improvements to the team.
- Identify and address frontend technical debt, ensuring long-term code health and stability.
Ideal Candidate
Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree: B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience in a Frontend development department.
Expertise in JavaScript.
Experience with front-end libraries such as React, Typescript, etc. (React preferred).
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and APIs.
Proficient with GitHub and CI/CD.
Proficient in Linux/Unix and comfortable with Mac.
Awareness of web security best practice
Unit testing experience is a plus.
