Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.
In this role, you will be a part of a team building our intelligent freight management platform for electric vehicles. You will join a cross-functional team of enthusiastic, humble, and creative engineers passionate about developing innovative, scalable, user-friendly end-to-end solutions. We strive to deliver high-quality products with speed through close collaboration and team autonomy. These joint ambitions will require you to acquire knowledge of the electric freight domain, closely collaborate with multiple disciplines, challenge conventional thinking, and think big.
You will:
- Use modern technologies for frontend development, using React, TypeScript, ViteJS, and GraphQL as your primary development tools. For more information about Einride's technology stack, see our Frontend Tech Radar.
- Contribute to enhancing our frontend technology stack and architecture by having a good perception and anticipation of customer needs.
- Work in a modern organization of empowered product teams, who value a fast flow of customer value, take accountability for what you build, and ship to production daily.
- Understand and solve complex system requirements rooted in real-life business-to-business use cases in the transportation domain.
We expect that you:
- Have several years of experience (5+) working with a modern web framework (React.js, Angular or Vue).
- At least a couple of years of working full-time (2+) specifically withReact.js .
- Technical leadership experience.
- "Real world experience" of building and maintaining a web application that is used by many.
- Have experience in driving architectural discussions and working with techniques and tooling such as CI/CD, testing, REST, GraphQL, and feature flags.
- Are eager to work in a cross-functional, highly collaborative, and entrepreneurial team as well as mentoring and coaching colleagues.
- Enjoy close collaboration with our frontend engineers and architects regarding frontend tooling and architecture to evolve the frontend technology stack and technical strategy.
- Are curious and open-minded about technologies and help in areas other than frontend development. Our engineers strive towards T-shapedness.
