What you’ll do
As a Frontend Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our main website’s user interface. You’ll work alongside skilled designers, developers, and other professionals to implement new features, optimize performance, and enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to implement new features and enhancements.
- Set up and analyze A/B tests to drive sales and revenue, implementing winning results for web pages and emails.
- Optimize web assets (CSS, images, JavaScript) to ensure superior page performance.
- Implement multilingual support, maintaining translations in 17 unique languages.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in continuous improvement of development practices.
- Stay current with front-end development trends and share knowledge with the team.
What you’ll bring
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js).
- Expertise in building consistent, excellent UI/UX across various browsers and devices using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Thorough understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Substantial experience with Git for version control.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and help team members work more efficiently.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience leading people or projects.
- Understanding of OOP and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Interest in test-driven development (TDD).
- Experience with A/B testing tools like Google Optimize/VWO.
- Proficiency in implementing event tracking with Google Analytics.
- Experience building HTML emails.
