Senior Frontend Engineer VueJS/IA

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Tech Department,

On a daily basis, an engineer at Ankorstore is part of a squad along with other Engineers (maximum 8 per squad), an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, a Product Designer.

Additionnaly, each individual contributor can also join and contribute on different Communities of Practices depending on its interest (probably the FrontEnd CoP for a FrontEnd Engineer at least).

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend services

• Embrace new technologies such as AI when designing solutions

• Contribute to the evolution of our architecture

• Take leadership in our Chapter of Practice

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with appropriate test coverage

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the platform

• Collaborate with Data Team to provide useful tracking events and reporting

• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability

• Participate in code reviews and mentor more junior team members

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

• Help us to define and follow the best engineering practices

• Support the on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability

Frontend engineers at Ankorstore spend a lot of time working with UX/UI designers, improving the shopping experience, the performance of our frontend applications, experimenting, testing, and fine-tuning our features, and enhancing our design system.

Ankorstore tech stack :

• Front-end: VueJS, NuxtJS, Typescript, Vuex / Pinia, sass, postcss, Vite, Storybook, Chromatic, Tailwind

• Back-end: PHP 8.3, Laravel 10, Golang

• QA: Vitest, Jest, Cypress

• Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, MySQL, Redis

• Tools: Github, CircleCI, Sentry, Notion, Graphana, Docker, Jira, Figma

• IA: Claude licence, MCP and LLM home-made

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Proven experience designing and implementing standalone frontend service

• Experience with VueJS or ReactJS

• Strong understanding of front end software patterns and principles

• Track record of driving engineering excellence and best practices, practicing good software engineering practices around clean code, reviews, and testing.

• Understand performance, security, and scalability

• Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• User-focused mindset when approaching technical problems

• Ability to solve complex problems in simple ways

• Being a pragmatic and autonomous team player, knowing how to adapt to a rapidly evolving work environment

• Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things
