The RoleAs a Frontend Engineer at GALVANY, you'll craft the interfaces that bring our AI-based Operating System to life. You'll build responsive, performant experiences that visualize complex energy data and workflows – with a strong emphasis on design quality and user experience. Your work will be used daily by installers, ops teams, and homeowners across our platform.
Responsibilities:
Build polished, accessible UI components using React, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
Collaborate closely with Design to translate Figma specs into pixel-perfect implementations.
Integrate with backend APIs and ensure seamless data flow to the UI.
Optimize for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate development with quick-prototypes and explore innovative frontend solutions.
Take ownership of features from implementation through deployment and iteration.
Tech Stack: Frontend with React, Tailwind, and Shadcn; Backend with GoLang and Laravel; Mobile with Flutter; General tools including Azure, GitHub, Linear, Notion.
RequirementsExperience. 4+ years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g. top-tier consulting, fast-scaling startups, or similar).
Track Record. Proven end-to-end responsibility in frontend development. From ideation to release.
Background. Strong background in relevant fields, e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Technical Skills. Strong coding skills with proficiency in TypeScript and React. Eye for UI detail and experience implementing designs with high fidelity. Fluent in spec-driven, AI-assisted development (e.g. Claude Code).
Mindset. Self-driven problem-solving mindset – no need for micromanagement or specific tickets.
Technical Aptitude. Technical mindset with a passion for understanding systems, data flows, and integrations, coupled with enthusiasm for continuous learning and problem solving.
Language. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
