As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll play a key role in our innovative team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our global customers.
From powering platforms like NBCUniversal’s Peacock in the United States to Sky’s NOW, and SkyShowtime across Europe, and now Showmax in over 40 countries in Africa, one thing’s for certain, your contributions will impact millions of viewers worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Help your team solve coding issues and develop best practices.
- Innovate and introduce new technologies to the team.
- Optimize your code, and your team’s code, for performance.
- Strive for continuous improvement within the self-regulated team, mentor peers and associates working in cross-functional feature teams.
- Innovate and introduce new technologies in the team.
- Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to understand features.
What You'll Bring:
- Development experience in JavaScript (ES6), and HTML5.
- Knowledge and experience with a good range of front-end technologies such as core JavaScript, React, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of HTTP(s), REST, and JSON.
- Ability to work well in a team, self-driven, and eager to learn.
- Creative thinking skills and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Good English skills.
- A plus: Knowledge of WebGL and Lightning TV framework in the context of tv and streaming services (awesome if you have this knowledge, but not mandatory).
