Senior Frontend Developer

Join us as a Senior Front-End Engineer (React.js) and take ownership of building and evolving critical parts of Zeely’s AI-driven product.
We’re looking for an experienced engineer who thrives in ownership, ambiguity, and scale — someone who can design robust front-end solutions, drive technical decisions, and deliver production-ready, high-quality UI with real product impact. In this role, you’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams and directly influence core product decisions.

Zeely AI is an AI-powered marketing platform that helps businesses generate high-performing UGC videos and ad creatives, and launch effective Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns — without agencies, complex setups, or long production cycles.

Today, Zeely serves 1M+ users across the US and Tier-1 markets and is ranked among the Top-3 players in its category in the US. The product shows strong year-over-year growth and is built by a team of 150+ specialists across product, engineering, growth, and marketing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Owning and evolving core front-end areas of a complex AI-driven product used at scale — from architecture decisions to day-to-day implementation.

• Designing and implementing robust front-end solutions for complex user flows: multi-step forms, async AI generation states, real-time updates, and edge-case-heavy scenarios.

• Delivering production-ready, pixel-perfect UI that strictly follows design systems and maintains high quality under rapid product iteration.

• Optimizing performance and reliability of front-end applications under high user traffic: reducing re-renders, improving load times, and ensuring smooth UX in data-heavy interfaces.

• Driving technical decisions on the front end — proposing improvements, identifying risks, and shaping long-term maintainable solutions instead of short-term patches.

• Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Backend to turn ambiguous requirements into clear, user-centered, technically sound solutions.

• Maintaining high engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, testing strategies, and ownership of the quality of delivered features.

What You Need to Join Us:

• Strong, hands-on experience with React.js in production (5+ years) — not just building features, but owning and evolving front-end solutions in real products.

• Solid TypeScript experience (3+ years) with a clear understanding of type safety, data contracts, and maintainable codebases.

• Production experience with a modern front-end stack, including:

  • Redux Toolkit and/or RTK Query for complex state and server-state management;

  • Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui for building scalable, consistent UI systems;

  • React Hook Form for complex, performance-sensitive forms;

  • Vite as a primary build tool.

• Strong understanding of modern front-end development practices, including component architecture, performance considerations, and maintainability.

• Experience working in product teams using Agile processes, with the ability to operate in environments with evolving requirements and partial ambiguity.

• Strong skills in building adaptive, responsive, and accessible layouts, with a pixel-perfect mindset and close attention to UI details as a core part of engineering quality.

• Language proficiency: English at Intermediate level or higher and fluent Ukrainian for day-to-day communication with the team.

Would Be a Strong Advantage:

• Experience integrating payments and analytics (Stripe, Solidgate, Mixpanel).

• Hands-on work with data visualization libraries (Echarts, Highcharts).

• Expertise with Next.js and modern rendering strategies.

• Experience with real-time or near-real-time updates (SSE or similar approaches).

• Experience working with TanStack Table or similar advanced table solutions.
