Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge web applications using SolidJS, React.js, Next.js, and Vue.js.
- Implement and optimize embedded e-commerce solutions to ensure seamless integration with our clients’ platforms.
- Focus on high-performance front-end development, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and code optimization.
- Work closely with designers to transform design concepts into visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to high-quality coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development and embedded e-commerce.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and debugging of applications for functionality, reliability, and security.
- Gather requirements from product managers and stakeholders and provide technical guidance throughout the development process.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing high-performance web applications
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS and modern libraries and tools such as SolidJS, React + Redux, Next.js, Vue.js, NodeJS, Babel, and Vite.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Proficiency in concepts such as web components (custom elements and shadow DOM), cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Experience with responsive design principles and optimizing applications for various devices, screen sizes, and browsers.
- Knowledge of modern front-end build tools, package managers, and version control systems.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Vitest and Playwright.
- Knowledge of browser devtools to debug, override, and profile client-side code.
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership of your code, from requirements and analysis to testing through deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize application performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- This is a remote position. Travel to Protecht Hubs in Phoenix, San Francisco, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin, or Chicago may be required as necessary.
