The Opportunity

Join Adobe as a Senior Frontend Developer and work with top engineers to deliver impactful user experiences for the world's largest companies.

Work with various teams including Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Marketers, Product Managers, and the Adobe Experience Design team. Use unified engineering and devops practices to build services with end-to-end ownership in mind, while integrating into the larger Adobe ecosystem.

What you'll Do

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to craft, build, test, and maintain systems, addressing intricate experience management operations and automation challenges.

  • Review and collaborate on features, technology, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies. Inspire and encourage solution teams to build reliable and scalable services.

  • Keep pace with evolving technology trends in software development and operations to take advantage of industry advancements and translate them for Adobe.

  • Discover and promote methods to improve team automation, including service deployment, management, and visibility, leading to enhanced value, quality, and reliability.

  • Participate in an on-call schedule.

  • Adopt a Lean approach to software engineering using a Kanban practice and close collaboration with local and remote teams.

What you need to succeed

  • Deep understanding of frontend development concepts and practices: HTML, CSS, Js, React.

  • Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations.

  • Familiarity with a variety of cloud and automation concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and their concepts.

  • Experience in container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Experience in automation and Observability technologies like NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus or similar.

  • Knowledge of Java and familiarity with Java development concepts and practices.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years' experience.

  • Prior knowledge of Adobe Commerce development is a huge plus.

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and standard methodologies for optimizing web page performance is a plus.
