Senior Frontend Developer with strong Vue.js

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Vue.js experience to join a long-term public sector digitalisation project in Denmark.

You will become part of a cross-functional development team responsible for building and maintaining a modern web application used in a business-critical environment. The frontend is built using Vue.js, while the backend is based on Java services and APIs.

This is a hands-on development role onsite in Copenhagen where you will contribute to architecture discussions, implementation, code quality, and continuous improvements across the solution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js

• Build responsive, user-friendly, and scalable web interfaces

• Collaborate closely with backend developers, architects, and business stakeholders

• Integrate frontend components with Java-based backend services and APIs

• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, and code reviews

• Ensure high quality through testing, documentation, and best development practices

Required qualifications

• Several years of professional frontend development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js in production environments

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Experience working with REST APIs

• Experience working in Agile development teams

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Fluent Danish, both spoken and written, is a mandatory requirement

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Understanding of Java-based backend architectures

• Experience with React and/or Angular

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise or public sector solutions

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments
