Position Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus and solid, practical backend skills to build and maintain modern web applications, internal tools, and business-facing platforms. The core of the role is frontend development with React and Next.js, complemented by the ability to build backend integrations, including database integrations and connections to internal systems and third-party services. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions, with direct ownership of key applications such as the Customer Portal and WHMCS-based services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and internal tools, with a primary focus on frontend using React and Next.js.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces following modern UX/UI best practices.
• Develop and maintain backend integrations, including database integrations, REST APIs, and connections to internal systems and third-party services, using a backend language such as Python.
• Integrate applications with CMS and platform tools such as WordPress, Strapi, and WHMCS.
• Take ownership of dedicated projects (for example, the Customer Portal and WHMCS customizations), maintaining and evolving them with limited supervision.
• Build dashboards, tables, charts, and pipeline views from API-driven data for operational and business reporting.
• Contribute to and maintain automation workflows using tools such as n8n where applicable.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, coding standards, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, SEO, rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR), and overall application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into working technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• English B2+
• Experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Practical backend experience, including building database integrations and REST APIs using a backend language such as Python.
• Experience integrating with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Strapi, or WHMCS.
• Solid knowledge of frontend performance optimization, SEO, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Understanding of REST APIs, authentication flows, and web security fundamentals.
• Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience building workflows or integrations using n8n.
• Experience with WHMCS customization and theming.
• Familiarity with cloud or deployment platforms such as Vercel, Docker, or AWS.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of analytics, A/B testing, or experimentation platforms.
