About the Role

    As Senior Front End Engineer, you will work across the full front-end stack, partnering with product, design, and back-end engineers to deliver features that reach millions of customers.

    At the 6–12 month mark, success looks like having shipped meaningful improvements to core user experiences, established yourself as a technical leader through code reviews and mentorship, and actively integrated AI-driven tooling into your development workflow.

    This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.

What You'll Do

  • Develop well-designed, testable, and scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Explore and integrate AI tools to streamline development and improve user engagement.
  • Deliver new features and optimize existing experiences at speed and scale within an agile workflow.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and automated test suites to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Partner closely with product, design, and back-end engineering to ship cohesive end-to-end features.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in front-end engineering, design patterns, and AI-driven development.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years building complex, high-performing web applications.
  • Deep expertise in React and JavaScript ES6/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and security best practices.
  • Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UX/UI design sensibilities and experience collaborating closely with design teams.
  • Functional programming experience.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar.

Interview Process

    1. Recruiter Screen - A 30-minute conversation with our recruiting team to align on the role, your background, and what you are looking for.
    2. Technical Challenge - A short AI or product-building challenge so we can understand how you approach problems and execution.
    3. Leadership Interviews - Deep-dive interviews with CSC engineering and product leadership focused on your experience, technical approach, and operational thinking.
    4. In-Person Interview - Meet with an engineer on the team in Costa Rica.
    5. Reference Checks - We will connect with a few of your professional references as we finalize the process. Conducted in parallel with the final stages where possible.
    6. Offer - We move quickly for the right candidate.
