We are a dynamic, international team developing a UWB-based Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) that powers solutions for industrial applications. To achieve the precision and scalability required for modern IoT solutions, we build full stack of software components, including firmware, backend, and frontend applications.
Join our full-stack team to scale existing solutions and create innovative KINEXON products in close collaboration with colleagues from our software and hardware departments.
YOUR TASKSAs a Frontend Software Engineer in our agile RTLS team, you will:
- Develop and maintain modern, scalable frontend applications for our RTLS platform.
- Build intuitive user interfaces for real-time data visualization and interaction.
- Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate APIs into frontend applications.
- Continuously improve UI performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, component libraries, and best practices.
- Enhance frontend testing and quality in our CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay up to date with modern frontend technologies and bring new ideas into the team.
For this opportunity, we are looking for someone with:
- A university degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in frontend development (preferably Typescript and Vue.js).
- Experience in building responsive, high-performance web applications.
- Familiarity with API integration (REST or similar).
- Experience with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
- Passion for modern web technologies and clean, maintainable UI code.
- Enthusiasm for modern software solutions, such as containerization with Docker.
- Very good English skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with real-time data visualization or interactive dashboards.
- Familiarity with WebAssembly (e.g., Rust-based components).
- Experience in backend coding (preferably C++ or Golang).
- Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker).
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and usability best practices.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, AWS, Flux).
- A history of developing Linux services and working with related infrastructure and tooling.
Our diverse tech stack allows us to develop robust and efficient services. Here is a breakdown of the technologies we use:
Frontend: Vue.js 3 (and 2.7). For performance-critical components, we leverage WebAssembly written in Rust.
Backend: C++, Golang, Rust, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
Testing: For backend services, we use a Python BDD testing framework, complemented by additional Python tooling.
