Senior Front-End Developer (JavaScript)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer with a deep understanding of JavaScript and front-end technologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. As a Senior Developer, you will work closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

While the focus of this role is on front-end development, a strong understanding of PHP and Craft CMS would be beneficial to collaborate effectively with back-end teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices.
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Participate in the design and development of new features, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and front-end technologies, applying them to enhance our development processes.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and troubleshoot front-end performance issues.
  • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver robust solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.
  • Basic understanding or knowledge of PHP and Craft CMS is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
  • Experience with front-end build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, Babel).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services.
  • Proficient in version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS) and responsive design techniques.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for front-end applications.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
