Job Summary: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is a cross-functional role responsible for the accurate, complete, and timely preparation, consolidation, and submission of Monthly Business Review (MBR) reporting, annual budgets, forecasts, and other corporate reporting requirements across all applicable entities. This role serves as a key coordinator between Accounting, Finance, Controlling, and operational stakeholders to ensure all deliverables comply with Bosch reporting standards, directives, timelines, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

As the owner of the corporate reporting calendar, the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is accountable for ensuring all reporting submissions are completed accurately and on schedule. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive cross-functional accountability in a fast-paced environment with non-negotiable deadlines.

This position is responsible for transforming complex financial and operational data into accurate, meaningful reports that support organizational visibility and informed decision-making. The role leads the preparation, consolidation, and submission of recurring corporate reporting deliverables, including monthly management business reviews, annual budget reporting, and other key financial analyses. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the position ensures data integrity, reporting accuracy, and strict adherence to established deadlines and corporate requirements.


Responsibilities:

Monthly Business Review & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive Monthly Business Review, Subsequent Planning, Target Business Planning, and other internal reporting for all applicable entities, in compliance with Bosch reporting standards, directives and established timelines.
  • Own the end-to-end internal reporting processes, ensuring all reporting submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Assist in the coordination of preparation and submission of comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and other recurring corporate reporting requirements in compliance with Bosch reporting standards, directives, and timelines. This includes analysis of net working capital, fixed assets, provisions, revenue, costs, and other financial reporting metrics.
  • Partner with General Ledger team to align and harmonize monthly and quarterly close and reporting schedules, ensuring consistency across multiple ERP systems and reporting entities.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for MBR and related reporting requirements including budgeting/forecasting, with responsibility for understanding upstream data inputs, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and driving process improvement that enhance alignment, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting outputs.
  • Ensure close coordination and communication with financial stakeholders (Accounting, Controlling, Payroll, Treasury, Tax, and operational teams) to gather, validate, and consolidate financial and operational data required for corporate submissions.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate reporting calendars, milestones, and submission deadlines to ensure all stakeholders understand deliverable requirements and expectations.

 

Cross-Functional Leadership & Reporting Governance

  • Act as the primary liaison among Accounting, Finance, and business leadership to ensure alignment on reporting requirements and submission expectations.
  • Drive accountability across functional teams to ensure reporting inputs are complete, accurate, and delivered within established timelines.
  • Identify reporting gaps, data inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to improve the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of reporting outputs.
  • Present financial analyses and reporting results to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization in a clear and meaningful manner.
  • Escalate risks, delays, and data-quality concerns proactively to ensure reporting commitments are achieved.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and cross-functional finance teams to align reporting methodologies and assumptions.
  • Support Business Unit Controlling in delivering agreed-upon overarching reporting requirements. 

Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, data quality, standardization, and reporting efficiency.
  • Lead enhancements to financial systems, reporting tools, and dashboards used for MBR reporting. Act as a key point of contact for continuous improvement initiatives and reporting projects, including Data Lake and Microsoft Power BI reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and internal controls related to financial reporting.
  • Lead ad hoc reporting projects and strategic initiatives related to budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or controlling, with exposure to financial reporting and cost analysis.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work and consistently meeting strict reporting deadlines, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for all assigned deliverables.
  • Ability to analyze and report key metrics to management and project leadership.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain operational excellence in complex, multi-system environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex analysis, reporting, automation, and data management, this includes:
    • Building and maintaining complex financial models and forecasting tools
    • Experience and success with Power Query and/or VBA
    • Performing large data set analysis, reconciliations, and trend analysis
    • Managing linked workbooks and integrating data from multiple sources
    • Formatting and presenting financial information clearly for different stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Familiarity with data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting automation tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Financial Reporting experience.
  • Experience with cost allocations.
  • Experience in the construction industry.

  • Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
