We are looking for a finance professional who can own planning, forecasting, management reporting, business analysis, working capital, and financial modelling in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Planning & Forecasting- Own the annual operating plan, a rolling 12-month forecast, and driver-based models and business plans built on volumes, pricing, bill-of-material cost and headcount, not last year plus a percentage.
- Own the monthly pack for both entities and the consolidation, covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs and cost centres.
- Prepare sales and cost performance reporting, delivered to a fixed working day.
- Build and maintain CEO, CFO, functional-head and investor dashboards.
- Ensure one definition per metric, with controls that prove the numbers tie.
- Own the cash position statement and short-term cash forecast.
- Track receivables and payables ageing and collections, inventory ageing, DSO / DIO / DPO.
- Manage treasury and investment valuation summaries, along with the overall liquidity and runway view.
- Perform budget vs actual, forecast vs actual, month-on-month and year-on-year analysis.
- Decompose variances into volume, rate and mix.
- Provide the cause, impact and recommended action — not just the number.
- Analyse profitability by product, segment, customer and geography.
- Build cost structures from bill of material to commissioning.
- Provide deal-level margin support.
- Develop capital-expenditure and make-versus-buy business cases.
- Support the financial sections of the board pack and investor MIS.
- Build the models, scenarios and diligence data required for a fundraise.
- Conduct market sizing and demand analysis.
- Track competitors and perform benchmarking that informs business planning and pricing decisions.
- Drive working capital as an agenda, not just a report.
- Own a tracked improvement programme with named owners across sales, supply chain and procurement.
- Move the reporting cycle from assembly to analysis.
- Use Power Query, a single mapped data layer, and clear documentation so that the reporting process can be independently run by anyone on the team the following month.
We hire on demonstrated capability, not on credentials. A CA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or CFA would be relevant.
Core Experience & Capabilities- 5 years in FP&A, business finance, management reporting or corporate finance, including an audit or advisory background with a deliberate move into analysis.
- Personally owned a monthly reporting pack for at least twelve consecutive cycles.
- Built a budget or forecast from drivers, not from last year plus a percentage.
- Written variance commentary that senior management acted on.
- Worked directly from a trial balance or an ERP extract, not only from clean data handed over to you.
- Strong advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Power Query, Power BI or SQL is a strong plus.
- Have the instinct to say “this does not tie” before a pack goes out — and hold that line.
- Recurring ownership of receivables, payables and cash reporting.
- Experience in treasury or investment reporting.
- Multi-entity consolidation and multi-currency experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, hardware or supply-chain-intensive industries.
- Experience with market sizing or competitive benchmarking for a management audience.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or business analyst roles
- Experience at companies that have raised multiple funding rounds from PE or VC investors
- Strong hands-on expertise in financial modeling and business planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience preparing structured management and investor reports
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience across Series C, D, or E funding rounds
- Exposure to IPO preparation processes
- Experience working directly with a CFO or senior leadership
- Background in technology, startup, or growth-stage companies
- MBA in Finance, postgraduate diploma in Finance, or Chartered Accountant qualification
