Bank of Georgia's Finance Division is announcing a vacancy for the position of Senior Financial Officer - ALM
Role Overview - Senior Financial Officer r is responsible for assessing and managing the bank's liquidity, capital, and interest rate risks using data-driven models and analysis. The role also includes full ownership of Customer Lifetime Value — from model development through calculation to implementation. It involves close collaboration with various divisions and supports the bank's overall financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, analyze, and forecast the bank's liquidity and capital metrics;
Develop and implement financial risk models (liquidity, capital, interest rate risk) and create corresponding model documentation;
Monitor and manage financial risk limits;
Develop, calculate, and implement the Customer Lifetime Value model — assessing value generated for the bank at the individual customer level and owning the end-to-end process;
Analyze the profitability of the bank's customers;
Actively collaborate with internal business units (Stakeholders), Finance Division teams, and IT Squads.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
Work Experience:2+ years of experience in Asset-Liability Management, financial analysis, treasury, risk management, or financial modeling within a financial institution.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in working with databases — SQL and Power BI at an advanced level;
Advanced Excel skills (VBA is considered an advantage);
Knowledge of financial statement principles;
Basic knowledge of local banking regulations;
Experience working with financial models;
Analytical thinking and attention to detail;
Clear communication of technical information;
Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration;
Effective prioritization and workload management;
Problem-solving orientation.
