How you will make an impact?  

As a Financial Consultant, you are responsible for the financial oversight and governance of the company’s Global IT spend, providing high‑quality financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support to senior stakeholders. You work closely with relevant business partners to ensure budget alignment, track and analyze planned versus actual cost consumption, and maintain transparency across financial performance and cost drivers. The role includes coordinating financial reporting, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and acting as a trusted financial partner to ensure disciplined and efficient resource utilization in line with strategic objectives. In addition, you contribute to company-wide and intracompany initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to support financial consistency, compliance, and value creation. This is a high-impact, high-responsibility position that requires agility, sound judgment, and decisive execution in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:   

  • Preparing and presenting high quality financial reports for business development and KPI based performance tracking for IT and Business Stakeholders; 
  • Analyzing monthly costs and investments (variance analysis, Business Cases, etc.) and developing appropriate recommendations for management for steering; 
  • Providing proactive support for company-wide initiatives and taking ownership as the main contact person for these initiatives; 
  • Organizing and aligning the reporting processes while tracking the operational budget for each assigned area along with a consolidated view of the entity-based Opex and Capex;
  • Using your financial know-how to give positive impulses to the business and (ideally) identify any pitfalls before they happen; 
  • Strategically advising stakeholders on individual and combined goals of the organization against pre-aligned initiatives; 
  • Taking initiatives where required to enable efficient streamlining of processes and Ad-Hoc request; 
  • Ongoing development of Controlling IT systems: optimize the analysis, planning and existing management information systems;
  • Providing valuable ad-hoc analyses upon request. 

Qualifications

Required key competencies and qualifications:  

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar (e.g. B.Sc. / M.Sc.); 
  • At least 10+ years of working experience within a senior controlling and/or finance role in a large matrix-organization or similar; 
  • Knowledge of SAP environment will be an asset; 
  • Working knowledge of IT Management tools (such as ServiceWare) will be an advantage; 
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; 
  • Proactive result-oriented team-player with the ability to work independently and is self-motivated; 
  • Very good fluency in English (written and verbal), German is an advantage.

Skills Required

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field, such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc.
