Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Director of Strategic Financial Planning. Under general supervision, the Senior Financial Analyst creates and maintains financial reports to support system operations. This position coordinates internal and external benchmarking data to improve productivity, reduce costs and optimize revenue to further the goals and objectives of hospital administration. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst assists in the execution of special projects and analytic work.

Job Responsibility: 

Strategic Capital Planning Support

Success Criteria:

Supports the maintenance of the comprehensive capital plan and annual prioritization process. Attention to detail and accuracy of deliverables are key criteria for success.

Job Responsibility: 

Capital Financing Project Management and Analytical Support

Success Criteria:

Supports the execution of debt issuances, refinancing, and amendments, including coordinating diligence materials, managing data rooms, and liaising with banks, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibility: 

Financial reporting, analysis, and research

Success Criteria:

Conducts enterprise level financial analysis and benchmarking projects. Maintains system trend databases on key metrics/ratios and the development of presentations to support decision making.

Job Responsibility: 

Debt compliance

Success Criteria:

Manage ongoing compliance with HUD regulatory requirements, including preparation and submission of required financial reports, certifications, and documentation. Monitors performance and financial metrics for HUD-financed properties or projects, including debt service coverage, operating performance, and covenant compliance.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Work Experience: 4-6 years
