TITLE:

Senior Financial Analyst

Title: Sr. Financial Analyst – Supply
Reports To: Head, Supply Finance
Location: Richmond, U.S.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose for this position is to partner internally with the Supply Finance and Global Finance Operations teams to provide accounting and finance support, and to optimise, standardise, and drive efficiencies in our current financial processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Delivers timely & accurate reporting of financial performance vs. forecast, along with an assessment of risks and upsides, for several products rolling into the US based Supply

  • Maintains effective controls for month-end, ensuring proper accruals and liabilities are recorded, and account reconciliations are done timely, including reporting in the Corporate “Blackline” reconciliation system, as well as appropriate documentation and execution of controls in “SOXHUB” (a.k.a “AuditBoard”) system.

  • Assist with inventory and COGS accounting for US Suboxone, Sublocade, as well as non-US Suboxone (intercompany COGS/Sales)

  • Assists with inventory reconciliation process with U.S. based CMOs, including receiving monthly reports, validating the data, reconciling the count, and investigating variances.

  • Delivers timely & accurate reporting of manufacturing variances.

  • Partner with business functions to offer financial insights in business decision making

  • Performs annual physical count of inventory at several US based CMOs

  • Support internal and external audit requests

  • Streamlines financial processes by identifying redundancies while delivering on our commitments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

Field of Study: Accounting / Finance

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience working in a Finance/Accounting environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with month-end and closing activity.

  • Strong SAP experience required.

  • Excellent MS Office (spreadsheet development, formula creation, v-lookups, pivots, macros, etc.).

Travel: Requires ~ 5-10% Domestic travel, per business needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with 3rd party Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and controlled substances.

  • Knowledge of both IFRS and U.S. GAAP

  • Strong SAP experience (super-user).

  • Advanced degree MBA and/or CPA

  • Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley
