About the Role:

The Financial Analyst position is an integral role in supporting Seerist's fast-paced growth initiatives. This position will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director with all functions of the company's commercial finances through financial analysis, forecasting/budgeting and business partnering with key stakeholders. This position will primarily be hybrid with onsite visits to our Reston, VA or Houston, TX office.

Responsibilities:

• Support the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
• Ability to translate financial and non-financial revenue and metrics into actionable operating plans to support business growth
• Support the month-end close process with accounting for any applicable revenue/commission accruals
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial management information packs with commentary on variances
• Act as a business partner with the controller and accounting team to support strong financial controls and continuous improvement in the monthly close/reporting processes
• Act as a financial business partner across the organization for ad-hoc projects

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant finance/account experience
• Relevant financial planning and analysis experience in building annual budgets, monthly forecasting, and ad hoc financial modeling
• Strong commercial/pricing acumen
• Advanced Excel, analytical and PowerPoint presentation skillset
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance or Accounting
• Experience with the SaaS and/or consulting industry
• Familiar with ASC 606 SaaS Accounting and Compliance Principles
