What You Will Do
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for reviewing activities associated with the annual business planning process and monthly IBP updates, preparing analyses for monitoring and reporting on financial data, providing leadership on cross functional teams, and assisting with monthly closings. You will also provide planning support and financial expertise for business decisions and conduct complex financial, accounting or planning analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning Support: Assist in budget forecasting and financial planning, maintain models, and developing business cases for new product launches while educating stakeholders on financial concepts and ownership.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, conduct in-depth analyses of financial data, and deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reviews in coordination with cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to drive financial performance and streamline operations, providing expert guidance on financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and complex analyses to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and strategic relevance.
- Industry Insights and Process Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, leveraging insights to enhance financial processes.
- Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to internal controls and actively participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Business Unit Finance or FP&A is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent data entry and processing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desirable.
- Experience in a shared services center of a multinational corporation is desirable.
- Strong teamwork and relationship building skills.
- Ability to express ideas and information in an organized and logical manner.
- Ability to prioritize workload and effectively communicate with management on resolutions of issues or decision making.
- Ability to use computer applications as required, including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic SAP skills.
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
