Job Description

The FP&A team’s mission is to operate as an essential Business Partner to Therapy Brand’s Leaders by offering strategic & financial analysis, and by delivering the best possible insights and recommendations for decision-making.

As a GTM Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A, you will be a key member of the GTM Finance team and aim to continuously improve towards the following goals:

  • Establish trust and deliver value through accurate, timely, and relevant reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our Leader’s business needs so the FP&A team can help them decide, plan, and execute their mission.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve our processes and systems so they can enable fast, in-depth, and accurate insight.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

As a GTM Senior Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Be involved in planning, tracking, and monitoring the business across various Sales and Marketing segments of the organization.
  • Use key SaaS metrics and Sales & Marketing analytics to build reports, conduct analysis, and derive insight for business leaders.
  • Build and own financial forecast models, understand deviations in performance of actuals, and communicate recommendations to drive strategy and operational rigor.
  • Help shape the go-to-market strategy and help to set bookings target based on analysis.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for both the Sales and Marketing Organizations.
  • Communicate variances to plan/budget to business partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze business results providing advice on the financial impact of operating decisions.
  • Support the month/quarter-end close process including reviewing bookings & revenue entries, ensuring accurate financial results, and providing variance analysis.
  • Proactively identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations to influence the direction of the business.
  • Drive process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Use key data sources and tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, Adaptive) to build, update, and improve models and analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Prepare dynamic excel templates to measure & report GTM productivity and efficiency metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Help business leaders and their team conceive of and plan for a more effective, scalable, and sustainable approach to GTM strategy development, planning, operations, and execution through best-in-class business intelligence, modelling, and reporting.
  • Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as needed.
  • Be curious with strong desire to drive issues to root cause, such as in the explanation of key variances between actuals and plans / forecasts.
  • Supports the FP&A team leadership in transferring knowledge and mentor junior members of the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree(s) and advanced degree(s) preferred with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, or related fields
  • 3+ years of related experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Sales and Marketing Operations.
  • 3+ years of experience as an advanced user of Salesforce and other GTM tech stack solutions such as Outreach.io, HubSpot, 6sense.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills required to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel; comfortable working with Power Query, macros, nested formulas, etc.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint; can easily create and edit professional corporate PowerPoint decks.
  • PowerBI, SQL, DAX, and/or Python experience strongly preferred.
  • Proactive and takes initiative, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work with members of the FP&A team, and cross functionally with divisional leaders.
  • Ability and strong desire to work in and learn dynamic financial systems.
  • Possesses strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to self-review work.
  • Ability to work independently and naturally derive solutions to business challenges.
  • Takes ownership and shows a proactive attitude, driven to continuously improve our service levels.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills.

  • Workday Adaptive experience a plus.
  • SaaS experience a plus.
