The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate FP&A team and serves as a strategic business partner to executive leadership. This role leads financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, executive reporting, and financial modeling to support business decisions across the organization. The position works closely with Accounting, Operations, Commercial, Engineering, and other business leaders to provide timely financial insights that drive operational and strategic performance.

This position serves as a trusted financial advisor by translating operational and financial data into actionable business insights. The role has regular interaction with executive leadership through forecasting, strategic analyses, capital investment evaluations, Board and Audit Committee materials, and quarterly earnings support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and financial analyses for senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and Audit Committee.
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, and Accounting to evaluate business performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses supporting strategic decision making.
  • Evaluate capital investment opportunities through financial modeling and return analysis.
  • Support quarterly earnings preparation and public company reporting, including key inputs into Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Design and improve KPIs, dashboards, reporting tools, and forecasting models.
  • Leverage ERP and business intelligence systems to improve reporting efficiency and financial insights.
  • Provide timely monthly financial reporting and variance analysis versus forecast and budget.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting automation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses requested by executive leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting; public company experience preferred.
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Manufacturing, chemical, or industrial experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI or other business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
