Job Description Summary:Nadara France SAS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to manage and oversee the financial accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our French operations.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the full cycle of financial accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations, in accordance with French accounting standards (PCG) and company policies.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and group reporting requirements.

  • Oversee and perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory declarations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant local taxes.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and providing insightful analysis.

  • Provide financial support and analysis to management for strategic decision-making.

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in French accounting standards and tax regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or a French accounting diploma (e.g., DCG, DSCG) is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, preferably within an international company or a significant French entity.

  • Strong knowledge of French accounting principles (PCG) and tax regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.

  • Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong ethical conduct and commitment to confidentiality.
