Join our dynamic team at CSC Switzerland as a Fiduciary Specialist at our Zug office, where you'll play a critical role in providing financial administration services for international clients. As a Senior Fiduciary, you will work under supervision of the Business Unit Manager - Finance based in Zug.
The Senior Fiduciary works independently and supports in the financial affairs relating to client companies in Switzerland. The Senior Fiduciary ensures, in close cooperation with qualified legal and tax advisors and in line with legislation and corporate policies, the timely and optimal financial administration of the client companies in line with local legislation and client's expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage financial administration for client companies in Switzerland.
- Prepare & review financial statements, handle taxes, VAT, and payroll for clients.
- Managing the closing process and creating financial reports in line with Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Collaborate closely with legal and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate policies.
- Support the team in projects beyond fiduciary services, such as cross-departmental initiatives;
- Coaching of (Junior) Financial Account Managers and help them to develop within our growing team and organization;
- Preparation of reporting packages and cash flow statements according to Swiss CO (IFRS & US GAAP);
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements and handling intercompany transactions / reconciliations;
- Awareness of developments taking place within client structures and to identify possible commercial opportunities;
- Participate in incorporation-, restructuring-, and liquidation projects.
Your Profile:
- Professional Senior Fiduciary/Accounting qualification (Swiss federal Degree or equivalent).
- Proven 4-7 years of experience in Switzerland and knowledge of all aspects of the financial statements and closing process;
- Strong knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Knowledge in IFRS & US GAAP. Must be able to prepare IFRS-based financial statements;
- Fluent in English and German (spoken, written, and report writing); knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Proficient in IT tools such as MS Office, Abacus, SAP, Viewpoint, and Dr. Tax.
- Analytical, proactive, organized, and a strong team player.
- Eager to learn and take on tasks beyond the job description.
- Hands on personality with the flexibility of taking over tasks beyond the job description.
