Working closely with other departments, offering support to our colleagues, we are looking for you, a hands-on Senior Finance Specialist highly organized and process-driven, with desire to learn and grow in our team.
Being part of our team, you will have ownership on the following:
Financial Planning:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and ensures related reporting, in alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor financial performance, provides insights and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare specific reports based on business needs
- Initiate and coordinate projects and initiatives in line with organization needs
Financial compliance:
- Prepare, analyze and ensure accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g. accounts reconciliations, balance sheet, income statement, cash-flow statement, etc.)
- Perform monthly closing processes (statutory and corporate)
- Perform operational accounting tasks
- Organize and manage financial and accounting documents
- Organize the preparation of the annual financial report
- Plan accounting activities and establish operational and administrative procedures for the department
- Monitor and help with accounting tasks, deadlines, and document accuracy
- Ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory standards, implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance
- Coordinate tax, financial, and accounting audits
- Contribute to the development of accounting policies and the implementation into relevant ERP system
Tax compliance:
- Tax statements: ensures compliance with tax legislation and helps with tax statements preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance controlling, accounting
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards, tax legislation
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g. GAAP)
- Relevant experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
- Proven experience in leading/coordinating projects and initiatives
- Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems and processes
- Advanced proficiency in accounting and ERP software (Oracle preferred)
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, business intelligence tools can be an advantage (e.g. Power BI)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities
- Strong ability to take initiative and deliver results autonomously
- Fluent in English, both speech and written
- CPA certification can be an advantage (e.g. CECCAR membership)
