Finance Manager

The Finance Manager owns the day-to-day execution of LeadingIT's financial processes and provides leadership with accurate, timely financial information. This role manages billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, and financial tracking. The ideal Finance Manager is highly organized, accountable, detail-oriented, and comfortable identifying problems and following them through to resolution.

What this role will entail:

Financial Operations 

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance processes. 
• Maintain accurate financial records. 
• Monthly  financial close. 
• Maintain financial documentation  

Accounts Receivable 

• Monitor outstanding invoices and AR aging. 
• Coordinate collections. 
• Maintain LeadingIT's collections process. 
• Resolve billing discrepancies. 
• Escalate past-due accounts appropriately. 

Billing 

• Coordinate recurring client billing. 
• Confirm billing aligns with client agreements. 
• Identify missed, incorrect, or inconsistent billing. 
• Coordinate agreement changes with Operations and account management. 

Accounts Payable 

• Manage incoming vendor invoices. 
• Coordinate invoice approvals. 
• Process payments. 
• Maintain vendor records and payment documentation. 

Payroll & Employee Administration 

• Coordinate employee reimbursements. 
• Partner with HR on compensation, benefits, onboarding, and employee changes. 

Reporting & Forecasting 

• Prepare monthly financial reporting for Leadership. 
• Maintain financial Scorecard metrics. 
• Assist with annual budgeting. 
• Maintain short-term cash-flow forecasting. 
• Track revenue, expenses, labor costs, and gross margin. 
• Assist leadership in understanding variances. 

Acquisition Integration 

• Assist with integrating acquired companies into LeadingIT financial systems. 
• Reconcile acquired billing, agreements, expenses, and client balances. 
• Maintain acquisition financial tracking. 

Key Measurables 

• Accurate and timely client billing. 
• AR aging within company targets. 
• Monthly reconciliations completed by 5th of the month.  
• Monthly financial reporting delivered on schedule. 
• Billing errors and missed revenue minimized. 
• Cash-flow forecast maintained. 
• Financial procedures documented. 
• Finance to-dos completed without repeated follow-up.

• 4+ years of finance/accounting experience. 
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting. 
• Strong Excel skills. 
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software. 
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through. 
• Ability to work independently and own financial processes. 
• Professional-services, MSP, SaaS, or recurring-revenue experience preferred.

Within the first year, LeadingIT has a predictable and disciplined financial operating rhythm. 

Leadership can confidently answer: 

• Where are we financially today? 
• Where will we be three, six, and twelve months from now? 
• Are we making the margins we should be making? 
• Are we staffed appropriately for our revenue? 
• Which clients and services are profitable? 
• Where is cash going? 
• What financial risks are coming? 
• What actions should we take? 

This seat owns making sure those answers are available, accurate, and actionable.

Our all-inclusive total compensation and benefits package for this role includes:

• Salary for this role is $110,000-$128,000
• Ascension plan if applicable
• We provide 100% company paid health, dental, life, and vision benefits – value of $4,500 to $14,000/year
• We match 5% of your contributions to Guideline 401k – value of 5% of salary.
