Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager to strengthen our financial management systems, ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards, and provide strategic financial insights for decision-making. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of accounting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and auditing, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and profitability across all business units.

Key Responsibilities  

Financial Management & Accounting

• Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  

• Develop and implement a robust cost centre structure to enhance expense tracking and performance management.
  

• Maintain cash flow management systems to ensure structured inflows and outflows across departments.
  

• Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accurate payment details, salary increments, and severance packages are properly documented.
  

• Manage pension and long-term employee benefit accounts, ensuring compliance and proper record-keeping.
  

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure all payments and receipts are properly logged.
  

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive budgeting framework for the company, with quarterly reviews and variance analysis.
  

• Lead the preparation of financial forecasts and investment portfolios, supporting strategic planning and business growth.
  

• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support key investment and expansion decisions.
  

Auditing & Compliance

• Establish and oversee auditing processes and internal control procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  

• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
  

• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and provide all required documentation.
  

Project & Board Accounting

• Maintain project management accounting records, tracking income, costs, and profitability for each project.
  

• Implement board management accounting practices, including periodic financial reports and analysis for management and shareholders.
  

• Align foreign business accounting and reconciliation procedures for international clients and transactions.
  

Process & Systems Development

• Document and standardize accounting workflows for efficiency and transparency.
  

• Introduce automation tools for quick reconciliations, financial reporting, and performance tracking.
  

• ​Build indices and dashboards for easy financial reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  

Qualifications & Experience   

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  

• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CPA) is desired .
  

• Minimum of 5–7 years experience in accounting or finance within the engineering, manufacturing, or construction industry.
  

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations .
  

• Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes.
  

• Excellent command of accounting software ( Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
