Title: Specialist (or Manager) – GFS Commercial Finance

The position: Specialist (or Manager) – GFS Commercial Finance
Some of the things that you will be doing:
Work with standard reports of Group Finance with respect to revenue, unbilled and receivables and assist in maintaining standardised dashboards for executive oversight
Using standard reports described above and accessing information from various systems, liaise with discrete operational and delivery teams of various countries to minimise invoicing delays by partnering to overcome administrative delays and improve chargeability levels to clients
Review contracts, unbundle fee structures and work with Centralized Billing teams and the business delivery teams to ensure that accurate billing plans are set up and maintained for all fee earning clients
Identify and follow through on the following
Time spent on projects not captured completely or accurately
Analyse client level profitability
Ensure price indexation is applied comprehensively (all GFS).
Disbursements are accurately billed to clients
Ensuring that milestone billings happen on time
Ensure proper proration of annual (or periodic) service fees
Ensure proper deferrals of revenue
Collaborate with Finance Operations teams in ensuring that manual accruals of fee income are adequately backed by client & contract level detail
Ensure that billing plans are accurately amended for terminated / terminating entities
Ensure that amendments / fee confirmation from clients exist for scope expansions and are backed by billing plans in the system
Identify and automate manual tasks in a process
Partner with Finance, Billing, Operations and other stakeholders to resolve financial and operational issues.
Work with various stakeholders in preparing material for standard review meetings and perform follow up of actions in the meetings
Perform any other tasks that will be necessary in assimilating information for annual budgeting and periodic forecast exercises
Any other adhoc tasks/reporting, as may be required from time to time
What Technical Skills, Experience, and qualifications do you need
Preferred Bachelors / Master’s in Commerce, Finance & Accounting disciplines.
5-7 years of experience in the Trust and Corporate Services Business, working across country lines and operating in a global, multinational organization, ideally in a matrix structure.
Demonstrable accomplishments relating to organizational change activities in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work in global shifts.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English & Strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in a multi ERP environment which shall include S4H, Oracle, Netsuite and familiarity with reporting via Oracle EPM
Experience in handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data to perform incisive analysis using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, DoMo or equivalent.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- 5–7 years of experience in the Trust and Corporate Services business
