We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, and electro-mechanical systems. As a Field Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing field quality escalations, collecting, and analyzing customer feedback, and driving corrective actions to enhance the quality of our products and services. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging real-time data to address quality issues in the field proactively.

What you'll work on:

  • Take charge of field quality escalations with a strong sense of urgency, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback from field locations, using real-time data obtained from automation software and quality reporting systems.
  • Identify, document, and communicate Field Corrective Actions to cross-functional teams promptly, ensuring efficient resolution.
  • Review historical field quality systemic issues and develop comprehensive plans to protect customers from recurring problems.
  • Develop field dashboards to report progress in Daily/Weekly review meetings, management review meetings and other relevant forums.
  • Review scripts analyzing data in ADX and troubleshooting problems.
  • Develop dashboards in PowerBI to support other field quality engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share lessons learned from the field and influence product and process changes that improve overall quality.
  • Lead field quality root cause investigations and implement CAPAs by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional meetings, providing insights and best practices to proactively mitigate risks to stores and customers.
  • Support site-specific requirements collection and ensure compliance with system and product requirements.
  • Provide support for day-to-day site-specific quality needs, making data-driven decisions based on field data.
  • Support site-specific testing and integration activities, and formally document test results for cross-functional review.
  • Play an active role in various projects, including site installation, provisioning, commissioning, and other site-specific requirements as needed.
  • Collaborate with site service and site safety teams to influence a quality-driven approach to major engineering decision-making processes.

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in field quality engineering or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and platforms, including data storage, analysis, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for creating data visualizations and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify root causes of quality issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of automation software and quality reporting systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of CAR(corrective action Report) processes and quality best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in software, Data Analytics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations as required.
