Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Testing Oversight
- Lead testing activities, including lab setup, internal testing, field validation, debugging, test case planning, conformance, certification and conduct field trials and troubleshooting
- Act as the technical point of contact and provide pre-sales & post-sales technical support.
- Deliver training sessions, product demonstrations, live demos and ongoing technical guidance to external and internal customers
Customer Engagement & Solution Development
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
- Interpret and clarify technical needs in line with real-world use cases and industry trends.
- Influence customer technical teams to adopt WNC’s solutions.
- Provide insights into product and business development based on field learnings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal engineering, QA, and software development teams.
- Share field and customer insights to inform engineering decisions and improve product design.
Software Development & Customization (Advantageous)
- Support development with hands-on programming in languages such as C/C++, Python and JavaScript.
- Customize existing codebases to meet customer-specific requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
- Accurately document test results and certification outcomes.
- Present technical updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Contribute to RFIs/RFPs as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical FAE roles or technical account management.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- WiFi standards, testing and certification related
- Cellular technology such as 5G and 4G, with some understanding on network topology – Advantageous
- Deep knowledge of Open-source platforms (e.g., RDK-B, OpenWRT, Prpl) – Advantageous
- IoT protocols: ZigBee, Thread, Matter – Advantageous
- Software added value related to AI, IoT, WiFi-sensing and home automation – Advantageous
- Conduct troubleshooting using industry-standard testing and debugging tools.

- Deep technical expertise in WiFi and connectivity solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective collaborator across multicultural, interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management, organizational skills and leadership.
Language Requirements
- German: Native speaker
- English: Fluent C2 (Proficiency)
- Mandarin: Advantageous
- Other Eu languages: Advantageous
Location & Working Conditions
- Primary Office: Frankfurt, Germany
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support engagements in UK, Europe and Taiwan
