Who What Wear is looking for a Senior Fashion & Social Editor to join our . If you’re creative, performance-obsessed, and know how to execute fashion and shopping stories across social and website platforms, we want to hear from you.

Reporting to the Editorial Director, the ideal Senior Fashion & Social Editor will be well-versed in the fashion and social media space, as it pertains to our Gen Z audience, and has previous experience pitching, writing, creating, and filming top-performing content for a digital publication and multiple social platforms.

You will understand the Who What Wear brand, and can generate innovative content ideas that delight our audience. Who What Wear has the largest social footprint out of all the Future brands, and this senior-level role has the opportunity to become a leader in the company as it pertains to our social-first shopping strategy.

What you'll be doing…

  • Ideate and film front-of-camera videos for Who What Wear’s social channels, some of which will tie back to on-site editorial stories 
  • Build out a team with one junior hire by Q3 2025 (April-June) of our fiscal year 
  • Manage and curate an assortment of freelance contributors to create content that aligns with this social/edit hybrid initiative 
  • Help shape new social-only platform we are exploring launching next year 
  • Build a strong reputation and online presence as someone who is Who What Wear
  • Fulfill on-site story and social outputs each week and nimbly respond to social content trends, changing commission rates, story performance data,, and pacing toward goals 
  • Capture content IRL for social (press events, red carpets, NYFW, shoots) 
  • Pitch and write daily fashion content for , spanning trend reports, shopping round-ups from our top-performing retailers, styling guides, and SEO content 
  • Track analytics on story KPIs to ensure personal audience and affiliate goals are met
  • Develop relationships with PR, brands, and industry experts

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • 7+ years of experience writing fashion content for a digital publication 
  • 2+ years of experience creating social content for a digital brand or publication
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the fashion space 
  • Personal online presence and portfolio of high-performing content 
  • Open and quickly responsive to feedback to improve the quality of work and performance
  • Success at collaborating with various teams across business categories, including distribution, art, sales, social, and data teams
  • Comfortable using social editing tools like Canva, Capcut, etc.
  • General working knowledge of affiliate marketing, HTML, CMS, and SEO tools—easily able to study and track analytics to improve performance including social analytics tools such as Dash Hudson.

This is a hybrid position working out of our NYC office, working three days from the office, two from home
