ResponsibilitiesRole Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant specializing in Commerce & Retail to deliver end-to-end implementations for enterprise retail clients. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in D365 Commerce (Retail), deep understanding of retail business processes, and proven experience in full lifecycle implementations.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Implementation
- Lead full-cycle implementations of D365 F&O Commerce: requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure alignment with Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail operations.
2. Functional Design & Configuration
- Configure Commerce HQ: pricing, promotions, discounts, loyalty programs, gift cards, catalogs, assortments.
- Set up POS (MPOS/CPOS) and Commerce Scale Units (CSU) for store operations.
- Define retail processes: sales, returns, exchanges, inventory management, cash management, end-of-day procedures.
- Manage payment connectors, hardware stations, and integration with payment gateways.
3. Documentation & Testing
- Prepare BRDs, FDDs, test scripts, and training materials.
- Support UAT, functional testing, and cutover planning.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct workshops with business users and IT teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Provide training and change management support.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 full-cycle D365 F&O Commerce implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge of Retail & Commerce processes.
- Hands-on experience in Commerce HQ, POS setup, CSU configuration.
- Familiarity with integration patterns, data migration, and Azure DevOps for deployment.
- Excellent documentation and client-facing communication skills.
