We are seeking a meticulous and results-driven Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts to oversee critical financial operations in our corporate insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reconciling brokerages from insurance companies, managing invoice issuance, handling GST and TDS filings, and ensuring timely debtor recovery. This position also involves end-to-end handling of receivables, payables, vendor processes, and payroll administration.

Experience Required: 0–2 years (Insurance/Financial Services industry experience preferred)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (MBA/M.Com. in Finance is a plus)

Compensation: Up to INR 6 LPA (based on experience and performance)

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  1. Brokerage Reconciliation

    • Verify and reconcile brokerage statements from various insurance companies.
    • Address discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting of commissions and brokerages.
  2. Invoice Issuance & Debtor Recovery

    • Generate and issue invoices promptly to corporate clients.
    • Monitor outstanding payments, follow up on overdue amounts, and implement strategies for debtor recovery.
  3. GST & TDS Management

    • Calculate, deduct, and file GST and TDS in compliance with regulatory timelines.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations to maintain full compliance.
  4. Accounts Receivable & Payable

    • Manage the complete AR/AP cycle, ensuring timely collections and payments.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve billing or payment issues.
  5. Vendor Management

    • Maintain vendor records, negotiate payment terms, and ensure timely settlements.
    • Resolve vendor queries, disputes, or payment delays proactively.
  6. Payroll Administration

    • Work with HR to process monthly payroll, including salary disbursement, deductions, and reimbursements.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure statutory compliance.
  7. Financial Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare periodic financial reports, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analyses.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
  8. Audit & Compliance

    • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents, clarifications, and reports.
    • Adhere to accounting standards, internal controls, and organizational policies.
  9. Process Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for automating and optimizing finance processes.
    • Recommend and implement best practices for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting.
  • Accounting Proficiency: Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and financial statements.
  • Tax Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations; experience in timely e-filing.
  • Insurance Industry Exposure (Preferred): Experience dealing with brokerage statements or insurance-related finances is an advantage.
  • Invoice & Receivables Management: Proven track record in raising invoices and managing debtor recovery.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ability to spot discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and financial/accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  • Time Management: Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaborative skills with both internal and external partners.

  • Skills Required
