The Role
Develops and validates analytical methods using HPLC, GC, UV, IR, Karl Fischer, and wet chemistry. Transfers methods to quality control and production, analyzes raw materials and finished products, prepares technical documentation, investigates OOS/OOT results and deviations, and supports process development and scale-up. Maintains instrument calibration, data integrity, GLP, ISO, and safety compliance while coordinating with QA, production, and regulatory teams.

Role & responsibilities
- Develop and validate analytical methods using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, KF, and Wet Chemistry.
- Perform method transfer to QC and production units.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Prepare and review analytical documents including STPs, Specifications, COAs, and Validation Protocols/Reports.
- Handle OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), and deviation investigations.
- Support R&D for process development and scale-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, ISO, and safety guidelines.
- Calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as QA, Production, and Regulatory.
- Maintain proper documentation and data integrity as per company standards.
Preferred candidate profile
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.Tech / M.Tech (Chemical) or equivalent
Experience:
- 812 years of experience in Analytical Development in Chemical / Pharma / Specialty Chemical Industry .
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, IR)
- Experience in method development and validation
- Good understanding of documentation and regulatory requirements
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
