We’re Cubby Beds 👋
A fast-growing and high-impact startup that makes smart beds for people with cognitive conditions like Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia and Autism. Our mission is to improve the lives of special needs kids and their families through our innovative products and go to market strategies. Since launch, we have changed the lives of thousands of families, been insurance covered in all 50 states, achieved profitability, and are building a growing team in our Denver HQ.
The next stage of the business is all about scaling our team, product, systems, and customer journey to help thousands more families get the safe sleep they deserve.
This is where you come in
We’re hiring a Senior Executive Assistant to serve as the C-Suite’s strategic and administrative right hand. This is part operations lead, part chief-of-staff, and part air traffic controller. You’ll anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and keep the COO and CEO moving at speed. This role exists to ensure our Visionary Leader (CEO) and Business Operations Leader COO) remain focused on high-leverage activities — strategic growth, product innovation, and organizational health — while ensuring the “operating system” of their daily professional lives runs with complete reliability.
You’ll be the COO and CEO’s force multiplier - running a tight operating system, keeping priorities on track, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Alongside that, you’ll jump in on select projects, help coordinate across teams, and keep momentum on the C-Suite’s top strategic initiatives.
Note: This role is required to work in our Denver office 3 days per week.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
Strategic Partner to the C-Suite
Act as a trusted advisor, proactively managing and protecting the C-Suite’s time and energy.
Keep the C-Suite aligned with strategic priorities and ensure follow-through on key initiatives.
Drive and quarterback special projects, coordinating cross-functional teams.
Act as a sounding board and thought partner for decisions, priorities, and communications.
Executive Operations
Support the C-Suite and executive team operations by managing meetings, KPI reports, preparing for board meetings, and project management.
Track tasks, projects and deadlines via ClickUp.
Assist with vendor management - communications, contract management, deadline adherence, etc.
Calendar, Travel, and Events Management
Own and optimize the C-Suite’s calendar, coordinating meetings, travel, and events.
Help plan and facilitate events such as board dinners, offsites, and recruiting initiatives.
Manage planning, expenses, communications, and day-to-day logistics.
Coordinate executive calendars as needed for meetings.
Communications
Draft, edit, and polish C-Suite communications, decks, and briefing docs to be clear, compelling, and on-brand.
Manage C-Suite tasks, email and LinkedIn - triaging and prioritizing to reduce noise.
Prepare agendas and pre-read materials for meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build strong relationships across the leadership team and the broader company.
Assist with company and people operations administrative tasks as needed to keep the business running smoothly.
Here’s what we’re looking for
You will have at least
3+ years supporting a senior executive, ideally in a high-growth or founder-led company.
Thrives in the pace - and occasional chaos - of scaling a startup; proactive and resourceful in solving problems.
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong project management skills; able to own and prioritize both your portfolio and the C-Suite’s.
High integrity, sound judgment, and absolute discretion in sensitive matters.
AI-curious and proactive about leveraging AI tools to increase speed, output quality, and efficiency across daily tasks and projects.
We hope you also have
Tech-savvy and quick to learn; fluent in Google Workspace, Slack, and/or ClickUp.
Clear, confident communicator (written & verbal) with a design eye for presentations and materials.
Strong relationship-builder with high emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset.

What We Do
At Cubby Beds, our mission is to help families live better by enabling them with modern safety beds for complex conditions. This vision permeates our day-to-day operations and supports every decision we make. Our core values form the foundation of our success. They shape our products, our culture, our team, and our approach to innovation. People First Always: We believe that people, our team, and the families we serve are at the heart of everything we do. We lead with empathy, treating every person as a human being, not a number. That means listening before acting, valuing diverse perspectives, and designing every solution with care and compassion. Whether it’s a teammate, a parent, or a child, we aim to build trust and lasting relationships. When people feel seen and supported, they become more than customers or coworkers. They become advocates for the impact we’re creating together. Operating with Excellence: Every step in our journey, whether it’s the tape on the box we ship or a company announcement, reflects our commitment to quality, because our work truly matters to the families we serve. We embrace challenges with determination and a deep attention to detail, holding ourselves to a high standard so we never settle for “good enough.” This excellence shows up in both the big picture and the small details, prompting families and healthcare professionals to remark on how intentional and seamless every interaction with Cubby feels. Pioneering with Purpose: We believe “better healthcare is possible,” and we’re here to deliver it. Our inventive spirit shines through questions like “What if?” and “Why not?”. Our innovation always has a clear purpose and problem to solve. We respect the guardrails of healthcare and work within them. Each new feature, product, or partnership is anchored in broadening access and driving meaningful improvements for families, so they can focus on their children’s well-being. We ship quickly, welcome feedback, and iterate. We always keep our purpose in clear view.
