We are seeking a Senior Event Planner to lead and innovate event planning across the EMEA region at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping client engagement through strategic event execution.
As a Senior Event Planner on the EMEA Private Bank Events team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing event strategies that align with J.P. Morgan's brand standards and business objectives. You will lead multi-city roadshows, collaborate with senior leadership, and contribute to high-profile client events that support business goals. You will manage all aspects of event planning, from strategy to execution, ensuring a consistent and professional experience for our clients.
Additionally, you will manage event communications through our event management platform, including invitation and website creation, reminder and post-event communications. A strong emphasis on data management throughout the event planning process, including post-event tracking and ROI analysis, will be required. Your expertise in the EMEA region and strong event management skills will be essential for success.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-city roadshow throughout Europe, occurring twice yearly.
- Manage all aspects of the roadshow, including strategy development with senior leadership and event planning with junior team members.
- Collaborate with the EMEA Head of Events and senior leadership to develop event plans and strategies that align with business goals and J.P. Morgan Private Bank brand standards.
- Utilize strong knowledge of the EMEA region, including key cities, venues, and local trends, for successful event execution.
- Oversee event management tasks from inception to execution
- Handle onsite responsibilities such as speaker management, vendor coordination, registration management, and oversight of presentations/AV needs.
- Participate in team meetings to provide event updates and strategic expertise.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience in event management. We are looking for individuals whose expertise is fully dedicated to the events management field, rather than marketing or public relations.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and event management platforms.
- Given the nature of the role, flexibility to work long hours, including weekends, and frequent travel will be necessary.
- Ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and offer creative solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to liaise with senior leadership, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines.
- Good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly across different EMEA Markets.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Foreign languages preferred: Spanish, French, Italian, German.
- Prior experience in financial services is helpful but not mandatory.
