Position Overview:
As a member of the Technology team, the Senior ERP Business Analyst will be responsible for teaming with business stakeholders to continually improve and support the company’s Dynamics Finance and Operations and interfacing systems. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage D365 to improve processes, gather relevant requirements, design solution, configuration, implementation, and training.
The position is responsible for documenting requirements, collaborating with business partners to determine solutions, creating, maintaining, and tracking project plans, delivery of solutions and on-going support functions. Additionally, the Senior ERP Business Analyst will support the ongoing monitoring of level 2 and 3 support items to ensure systems and interfaces are operating as designed and data integrity is maintained.
This is a full-time permanent position working remotely in Mexico.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leadership to continually identify opportunities for improvement.
- Define how the ERP and other integrated applications such as CRM can improve business activities, workflows, processes leading to more efficient and reliable operations.
- Lead the requirements, design, test, deployment and adoption of new feature and enhancement development.
- The role is responsible for documenting requirements, collaborating with business partners to determine solutions, creating, maintaining, and tracking project plans, delivery of solutions and on-going support functions.
- Support the ongoing monitoring of level 1 and 2 support items to ensure systems and interfaces are operating as designed and data integrity is maintained.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) test case development and processes.
- Engage with the business leaders to develop change management and new feature adoption plans. Includes establishing metrics to measure adoption and assisting with the tracking of those metrics.
- Support the business with documenting processes and controls as it relates to D365 F&O.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance or Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, including technical and business analysis experience.
- 3-5+ years’ experience configuring and developing in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, SAP, Oracle or comparable. Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations is strongly desired.
- Experience working in project-based organizations is a strong plus, particularly in environments where project accounting is a core business function. Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations Project Management and Accounting in strongly desired.
- PowerBI or comparable applications and solutions a strong plus
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with strong business acumen and the ability to develop solutions to solve complex business problems.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and translate business needs into requirements and systems design documents and user-stories that feed the development processes.
- Effective meeting/workshop facilitation skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to guide business leaders in adopting best practices and implementing strong, scalable processes to drive operational efficiency.
- Ability to meet and coordinate multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
