Primary Responsibilities:
- Compliance with both Optum and client business unit requirements
- Support Workday Payroll configuration including earnings, deductions, taxes and payroll calculations
- Assist in payroll processing, payroll validation and reconciliation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related system and configuration issues
- Participate in Workday quarterly release reviews and payroll enhancements
- Support payroll integrations, EIBs and data loads
- Assist with change control and migration activities across Workday tenants
- Support application maintenance, security and access management
- Monitor interface and integration errors and perform issue resolution
- Monitor ServiceNow queue and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Work directly with business users to gather requirements and document solutions
- Support payroll audits, compliance activities and process improvements
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Time Tracking and Finance teams
- Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of Workday Payroll experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration and support
- Experience with EIBs, reports and calculated fields
- Understanding of Workday business objects and security concepts
- Solid understanding of payroll processing, earnings, deductions and taxation concepts
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Willingness to work in US business hours
