What’s the role?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to lead our mobile development teams across the AiDash product portfolio. The Mobile team at AiDash is committed to building consumer-like mobile experiences for enterprise customers.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, with hands-on experience in iOS development. Experience in building Backend For Frontend (BFF) services is highly desirable, and familiarity with backend systems would be a significant advantage.
What you will do ?
- Build, lead and mentor multiple mobile development teams to deliver consumer-grade mobile applications for enterprise customers.
- Drive the entire mobile development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of mobile applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
- Explore and evaluate opportunities to migrate native applications to cross-platform frameworks such as React Native, Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Build and maintain a BFF layer to serve all frontend applications via a single backend.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 plus years of experience in mobile app development, with a strong focus on iOS / Android/ Cross-platform frameworks
- Hands-on experience in iOS development is a must.
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience with Backend For Frontend (BFF) development is welcome
- Familiarity with backend systems and technologies such as RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) would be good to have.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for technology and a drive to innovate and continuously improve.
