Job DescriptionYou will lead an agile development team that is on its transition to becoming fully AI-native. By seizing every single automation opportunity, you will coach the team to integrate with hundreds of transportation providers across the globe.
Every launch you lead will enable millions of travellers to discover new journeys. Together with your colleagues, you constantly strive to abstract the complexities of fragmented markets and APIs so that booking a bus in Vietnam becomes as simple as securing a train ticket for Ceske Drahy.
You and your team will build a structured and performant system that’ll be smart enough to fix itself. Striving to take the human out of all the tedious day-to-day investigation processes, you will give your engineers the time back to focus on true improvements.
What you will do:
Manage a talented team of 4-7 software developers, to help grow and develop them further.
You will curate an environment, where AI-driven development becomes the foundation of everything. We provide our employees with all tools needed.
You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle of the software from strategic planning, actual development and testing, to monitoring and incident response.
Together with your product counterpart and other stakeholders, you will agree on the OKRs for your team and take responsibility for the delivery
You will analyse technology and resource needs to assess the feasibility of projects, and advise on future resourcing needs
You will be responsible for the hiring process for your team
You establish best practices for cross-team collaboration and software development processes
You will continuously raise the engineering bar with experience and passion for software excellence

Our platform is built on Java (21-25), Spring, Spring Boot, we also use Go, Couchbase, BigQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, Graphite, Grafana, Kibana and GraphQL.

Qualifications3-5 years of experience in leading agile teams as tech-lead and/or people manager
Working with AI does not mean replacing Google with ChatGPT. You have extensive experience with the latest tools (Cursor, Claude, etc), automation (n8n, Windmill, etc) and models available on the market and what they are good for
Track record of successfully shipped software products
Good understanding of software engineering practices, passion for agile
